German public transport... Ouch.

This morning I woke up at my normal time of 6.20am, but I fell asleep again for a little bit... This didn't help when I rushing to find clothes when I had to get dressed...
I still had time to have breakfast though, strangely and I got some lovely thin black socks in my advent calendar, which was exactly what I needed!
We were all running a bit late for the train, so we tried to hurry. When we were half way to the train station, the train came and we had to run for it... It is not fun running on snow and ice.

Oh yes, it also snowed last night! Not very nuch though... Only about 5cm.

Molly and I walked to school because Julia had to go and buy a gift for her secret santa person... We sat in the main area and met with some friends before we walked up to class and sat outside.
Julia came before class started and she had bought tickets for the school Christmas concert tomorrow night. :)

We had history first period and everyone got their tests back. We all got chocolate too, although I'm not sure why. We all got freetime to talk while she talked to each student by themselves. We only had a 45 minute period of it before Maths.

In Maths, we ended up doing sport... Everyone had already gone their end of term test, so there wasn't anything to do. The teacher got everyone to do surveys on if they liked the actvities and we watched a video and looked at picture of everyone doing acrobatics. The class was basically a free period and ended in people giving each other massages.

Molly and I had 2 periods free after that because everyone had to do a German test. We decided to go into Marburg to go shopping and eat. We walked to the bus stop and 2 buses were just pulling in, we ran for it, got there and they both just decided to leave even though the bus drivers saw us... Lovely. I wasn't planning on buying anything, but I saw a Timmy Hilfiger shirt that was half price and I thought it was worth buying...
We decided to go to McDonald's for lunch... We used Molly feeling 'homesick' as an excuse. :P
It is strange in Germany... And quite expensive. Molly accidently got this giaaaant burger, it was nearly as big as her face. We spent time sitting there because it was nice and warm, then we had to go back to school.

We had sport for the next two periods, but some of the kids in our class were sitting down, so we sat with them. The Germans always like to get us to say hard German words, so they told us to say words. We went to sport and all got ready in the changerooms. We had to do acrobatics and I had to fill in as a person in one of the groups. They were trying to work out their pyramids for after the holidays when they have to perform them to their teacher.

Molly and I still had time free after sport, so we went into Marburg with some other friends from our class and walked around. We caught the train back and I sat in the main area of the school with some of the people in our class.

It finally came time to go to Biology and we walked over to the classroom. The teacher spoke about things I had already learnt, so I tried to help the people I was sitting with, but it is a bit hard translating scienctific terms, even though they are similar. Especially when you can't remember the words fully...

Our teacher let us out 10 minutes early and Julia had the fantastic idea of catching a train that came in 7 minutes, even though it take about 15 minutes to walk to the train station...
We took a short cut and then ended up having to run for the train... AGAIN! Up stairs, across the overpass and then down stairs again... Let's just say I may get a giant bruise on my leg... Running on snow and ice isn't fun.

Julia and I came home, I had basically died on the train from the exercise I had just done... Of course, Julia the athlete was fine though. We came home and Julia's borther had friends over, they were all watching Bonanza. Julia had to go to training and I ate dinner with at least 3 members of the family. I ate rice with tomato and capsicum. Later on, Julia came home and then went horse riding... It was already 9pm. I would have gone with and helped her, but I was in my pyjamas.

Tomorrow, I get to sleep in and then I get to go home early. :) Also, Julia, Molly and I are going to the school's christmas concert which a lot of the people in our class are playing in.
