Knittttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttting.

I woke up between 10-10.30 this morning and went downstairs and Julia's dad was up drinking coffee. I ate a bowl of cereal and then went and sat on the couch and knitted my sock while Paul watched the last episode of Bonanza. I knitted quite a bit more of my sock and eventually the band at the top was finished.

After a while, Julia and Hannah woke up and came downstairs. We got a phone call from Julia's mum and we started cooking potatoes for lunch. Julia made a nice little sauce to go with them and it was time to eat when Julia's mum got home. We ate fairly quickly and then our neighbour came over and we drove to buy wool.

We had to stop off first at another wort of hardware store and look at a wheelbarrow to buy for Christmas... We ended up buying a basket, but no wheelbarrow. We drove to the wool store, but they were closed for another 15 minutes for lunch, so we went to the bakery and got coffee.

After a while we walked back over the the shop and looked at all the wool. Our neighbour bought wool to make little fleted slippers for her daughter and I got wool for socks and a scarf. Julia's mum bought more wool for Hannah's scarf and then some others for a scarf and gloves. We ended up spending about €130 all together just on wool... It was nice wool though. The lady at the store also gave me a little frog prince out of wire to take back to Australia with me.

We drove home, Hannah and I were meant to go to their Oma's house and we planned on catching the bus, so we walked tot he bus stop. The bus never came... We walked home and were going to catch the train their in 10 minutes, but their Oma called and said not to bother. We both sat on the couch and knitted, then Julia's mum came home with Paul. A family friend came over for a few minutes, then Julia came home. We ate dinner a bit later and had bread with cheese, meat and avocado... We ran out of the good bread half way through dinner and had to use toast bread instead.

After dinner, Hannah and I stayed at the table with our knitting... Hannah needed to go next door and feed the horses and I went with her. We got water and hay for them and Hannah got to clean out their stalls... I helped move the wheelbarrow and thought about what strange animals horses are...

We walked home and sat on the couch, once again knitting. Soon enough some of Julia's friends from aroudn the village cam over. We were planning on going sledding but the snow had started to melt that morning. We sat and talked, then watched the movies, Panic room on Julia's TV.

They left at about 12.30am and I had to catch up on my travel diary writing and do some knitting.

I have to wake up early tomorrow morning to go shopping and it is also my advent day!
