Maths in German is very hard to understand, I think it confused me more about things that I couldn't even do in English. After a while of sitting there trying to understand, the class was over and we had a break before English.
Our English teacher didn't end up coming to school, so the school principal came into our class and told us that she had a problem with her key and wasn't coming in today. He told the class what to do, everyone did it and then we all ended up talking and running around the classroom. A mandarin was thrown, videos were made and people got drawn on with chalk.
We slowly walked to another building for our next class, it was meant to be physics, but because the class has a chemistry test on monday, they had a period to learn more chemistry. I could understand what they were doing! Reduction and oxidation reactions in German! They do them a bit different... Or at least from what I remember. I wasn't very good at them, even in English.
Molly got in trouble for throwing paper around the classroom, but the class was quite fun.
After class, Molly and I went into the city to meet her dad. We all got lunch together and walked around the shops. I bought ginger cookies and a scarf.
We all caught the bus to the train station and then the bus back to our village.
When we got home, we all drank coffee together and ate German cookies. At about 5.30pm, we went to a tower just out from Marburg and walked up, even though you could barely see anything. The whole sky was white and there were clouds everywhere.
Afterwards, most of the family and I went to their aunty's house, because it was her birthday yesterday. We gave her a lovely flower and a magazine subscription, I also got to write the card to her, in English. :)
The family told me that there is a rock concert on in one of the villages after christmas, so continuing with our tradition, we are going to that too hopefully.
We were planning on going to the christmas market tonight, except it closes at 8pm and we wouldn't have had enough time for anything. We are just going to eat pizza and spend time together.
Tomorrow, we are going to the christmas market in Marburg for sure and I'm not sure what we are doing during the day!
I have still been helping translate everything, and it is pretty interesting.
Julia went horse riding at 10pm, because that was the only time she could fit it in. I went with her and watched. There were mice in the riding hall and the horse kept getting scared. It was a little scaring seeing the horse get frightened with Julia on it's back.
I got to see all the horses and pat them.
