Christmas markets in Germany. :)

This morning, being a Sunday was quite lazy. I got up at 9am, showered, dressed and sat in the kitchen. Everyone else slowly woke and Julia was already out training for athletes. A man knocked on the door and handed Julia's mum a plastic bag that looked very full... After he left she told me to look inside the bag. There were 2 giant dead ducks... That is our Christmas dinner... I like duck though, it was just a bit scary to see.

We all sat down and ate breakfast, the typical bread rolls with cheese and cold meat which I love. We were in no rush to leave yet for the day, so we all just relaxed. Molly came home at 11.30am and we had half an hour before we had to leave.

We jumped into the car and dropped Paul off at their Grandmother's house, then the rest of us drove to Frankfurt. We slept on the drive there, we were all really tired.

The Christmas market that we went to was at the Hessen Radio and TV station in Frankfurt. They had the big mascout outside. They had some stalls outside, but they were mostly food. Inside, it was really nice and they had a lot of stalls, mostly crafty things. There was glassware, decorations, knitting, sculptures, soaps and glass blowing too.

It was really pretty from above and the whole market was where the radio station offices usually are. The buliding is about 50-60 years old and built after the 2nd world war.

We saw a strange man outside when we went to eat. We all ate either curry wurst or apfel wurst. Then to drink we got warm apple juice, it was so good. I love that they have everything warm here during winter.

On the drive home, we all slept once again and then we had to pick up Paul to take him home with us too.

We were all tired when we got home and just sat at the table doing nothing. We finally decided to eat something and I tried to help cook dinner. We had egg noodles with chicken, mushrooms and cream... It is similar to carbonara, but a little bit different...

Afterwards, we watched TV together and sat on the couch folding clothes.
