I forgot that there was a GIANT SPIDER in the movie, so that was a horrible shock.
Today I had the first 4 periods free, so I slept in until nearly 10am and then got up for school. I also got to open my advent calendar thing... I got a little santa clause magnet. :)
Julia and I caught the train to school, but the train didn't go all the way to school, so we had to catch a bus and then walk...
We got to school while the other kids were having their 20 minute break and we all waited in the classroom. We had history... The teacher is that class is a little bit weird and always seems to stare at me... We basically all wrote notes and talked while she explained something... I really don't know what...
After class, we had biology so we had to walk over to the science classrooms. We walked in and all sat down. Then some of the students talked to the teacher and told him about a basketball roundrobin that one of our classmates was in. He decided to let us go and watch the basketball instead of going to class.
There were other school there and they all played against each other. The team we were going for was winning 65 to 4...
After school, Molly and I walked to the bus stop and found Hannah. We all caught the bus and train together. We walked home and then after a while, we all ate. We had rissoles, potatoes, salad and left over macaroni cheese.
We then decided to watch a movie. Molly left to go to her boyfriend's house and Hannah and I got ready to go ice skating.
The ice skating rink in Marburg is only there during winter and it is behind the swimming pool. Everything is decorated and made to look christmas-y. It is only 4 euros to go in for as long as you want, but it is quite small. Hannah and I skated around together and after a while, one of her friends skated with us too. It was busy at first, but we ended up staying there for 4 hours and not many people were there in the end.
In Australia the ice is so wet, with puddles in it, but it is sooo hard here and it can be hard to skate on. Their were kids throwing snowballs around. Hannah and I tried to spin around in circles together, we failed and then Hannah's friend Isacc tried to spin us around, he ended up holding onto my glove and I fell to the ground... It was fun though.
When we walked out of the ice rink, it was snowing and the roads are very dangerous at the moment because it was raining earlier. We came home at 8pm and ate bread with cheese and meat. :)
Paul has been blowing up balloons since monday and he finally had enough to fill this strange mattress with balloons. You can sit on it safely, but it isn't very comfortable. Julia learnt that it doesn't work when you jump on it, the balloons pop.
