Sundays.

Today, was a fairly lazy day, at least in the beginning.
I didn't wake up until 11.30am, my iPhone alarms are no going off anymore... Hmmmm.
Hannah had left for her skiing trip, so I didn't get to say goodbye. I had toast and half a roll for breakfast, we are running out of cheese, but I found some in the fridge. Julia's parents were watching TV and Julia was out training.

Julia's mum started cooking lunch a bit after and we had pasta with mushrooms and chicken. We all sat on the couch together and Paul watched Ruldoph the red nose reindeer. I wrote in my travel diary, which I haven't caught up on, I'm about 3 days behind. Then the movies finished and Julia's dad had to go to work.

The rest of us sat in the lounge together and then we started getting presents out because we were visiting family friends. Paul got out some Lego and we started building that too. We lost some pieces under the couch, so we ended up cleaning up under there and I found some more lost Lego and toy cars.

At about 3.30pm, we left to go to our family friends house. I can't remember the village's name, but it was about 30 minutes away and is at the so called, 'arse of the world.' We drove there and the sun was setting, it was quite pretty.

When we got there, we gave out presents and then sat down on the couch and drank coffee toegther and talked. The family had a giant 4 metre snake skin on the wall and it was quite scary sitting underneath it. We ate biscuits and sat around. I think there is a trend with leather pants in that part of Germany... The family had a really sweet dog named Paul.

After 6pm, we left and drove back to Bürgeln. I had a nice conversation about the differences with money in Germany and Australia. We got home and then about 20 minutes later ate dinner. We had bread with egg and cheese, etc.

Paul went to bed at about 8.30pm and we sat down and watched a German crime show on TV.

I didn't get the chance to take any photos today, but tomorrow we are going ice skating and such.
