More Athletes Competitions.

This morning, I got a bit of a sleep in and woke up around 10am. I wondered around the house for a bit while everyone was slowly waking up. I sat in the kitchen for a bit while Julia's dad drove to get us bread for breakfast. Hannah came home from church and we all sat down and ate together. After breakfast, we all juct relaxed and I ended up doing some knitting, I probably did something a little more productive too, but I really can't remember what it was.

At about 12.15pm, Julia's dad, Julia and I loaded into the car to drive to an Hessen championship athletes competition. We dorve to pick up Julia's aunty and her partner and then into Marburg to pick up Julia's oma. Then we started driving to Frankfurt, to the competition. It took about an hour to get there, so it was 1.30pm when we got there. We all sat down and watched the high jump, pole vault and lots of sprint. Julia had to run at 3pm, and before her were the 200m and the 400m. Eventually, just before 3pm, she got up and went onto the track. She had already warmed up. She was in the 2nd race, they had already run the first na dthe times were a lot slower than Julia's normal times. She had to share a track with a girl from the frist 50m and that made it really hard. She tried hard to overtake the girls, but couldn't get there and was cut off. She ended up coming in 4th, with a really slow time that she runs in training. She was pissed off, but it was okay.

We left after Julia had gotten her certificate and cooled down. Julia's trainer said goodbye to me, even though I realised a bit later that we were going to see each other on Thursday. We walked to the car, eating chocolate and Julia said that we were going to drive straight to McDonald's and she was going to get fat. Later she decided that she'll run every day this week. We drove home and dropped everyone off on the way home. When we got home, we made something to eat. We got out all the bread and mad ourselves a late lunch. Julia's mum started making dinner and I helped her. She was making pig's stomach, not the actual organ... Stuffed with bacon onion, cheese and flour. Then on the side, pasta and salad. I was a bit creeped out by the meat becuase it had hair on it still, but when it was ready, it tasted good.

After dinner, we sat in the lounge room and watched Bonanza for abit until Paul went to bed, then I knitted and watched the weekly German crime show with Julia's parents. We all decided to go to bed early because we were so tired.
